Message majority. I know of no serious car guys with cars worth the slightest degree extra attention to detail that bother investigating and background checking the volume shops, looking for that golden goose. I never said it wasn't possible, I said it is a good rule of thumnb to just go to the true specialists right off the bat, even they need to have their references checked prior. It just makes sense.

Also, you did that job, while it may seem like nothing to you, if an alignment tech knows that you were an alignment tech, he knows he cant get away with bullshit, and is far more likely to go that extra mile for a former "brother in arms" as the saying goes. Ask any former cop about people's tendency to do this. It holds true in most any profession, trade, whatever.

Again not saying your case never happened, but for some Z owner who has significantly modded his suspension and is not a former alignment tech but just a regular Joe in need of getting his shit done properly, there isn't a worse idea than going to a volume shop. I dont care what they say over the phone, or even to his face when he arrives. Work smarter, not harder. Find a specialist first. Do homework. Leave confident.

"The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of "liberalism", they will adopt every principle of our socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without ever knowing how it happened....
I no longer need to run on the Socialist Party ticket because the Democrat Party has now adopted our platform."
--Norman Thomas, 1944 Socialist Party Presidential Candidate

"Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery."
--Winston Churchill
